Why doesn't XP on my computer automatically recognize my song came

Hi, tried for hours to make this work..it doesn't recognize my camera when i
turn it on and plug it into my usb port. Every other computer will do
it....not mine! Whats wrong? It works when I put a cd rom in with
pictures...up comes that screen that asks me how I want to view the
pictures...but not when I plug in my camera!

Please help me!!!!

What you describe in your last sentence relates to AUTOPLAY, which is
not the same as "doesn't recognize". Do you not see your camera in
Windows Explorer?
