Why does my USB hub forget

Why does my USB hub (STLab 4pB) forget some of my peripherals
such as mouse, printer etc. at random?
This occurs when starting up again after my laptop having gone
into standby. I also tried hibernate but does not seem to help.
According to the hub instructions there is no driver
installation necessary if you run XP (home)
Anyone had similar experiences?

You may want to ask the manufacturer, or someone in a Windows hardware
