Why does my USB hub forget?

Why does my USB hub (STLab 4pB) forget some of my peripherals
such as mouse, printer etc. at random?
This occurs when starting up again after my laptop having gone
into standby. I also tried hibernate but does not seem to help.
According to the hub instructions there is no driver
installation necessary if you run XP (home)
Anyone had similar experiences?

This might be a good question for the manufacturer. The forum to which you
have addressed your question is for another product altogether, and even
though you might attract the attention of someone here who can help you with
this, it is more likely you are wasting your time.
