Why does my orginal email stop tracking read receipts?

When I send out a message with "read receipts" the SENT message has a
TRACKING tab. When I click on this tab it shows a list of all on the email
and times when they have read the email. I moved this message to my INBOX so
I can just keep tabs on who has read the email, but the TRACKING tab no
longer keeps tabs on who has and has not read the original email. It stopped
tracking hours after I sent the original message.

I wonder if this is because I moved the email to my INBOX. If so, how would
I keep the email tracking? This would help me out, as I don't want to keep
tabs on all the receipts, just the original email.

it is because you moved the message. you'll need to leave it in the sent
folder.
