Why does my Excel 2000-created spreadsheet not work in Excel 2003?

We created a model (14,564 KB) using Excel 2000. When we upgraded to Excel
2003 we found we cannot open the model in Excel 2003 without getting an error
message, followed by Excel 2003 crashing. Our quick fix was to reinstall our
Excel 2000 and continue using it when we work on our model. Is there
something we can do short of recreating the model (in Excel 2003) to make our
Excel 2000 model work in Excel 2003? FYI: Others of our Excel 2000-created
spreadsheets (much less complex) work in 2003 without a problem.

May be you should try again in Excel 2003 using the latest service Office
2003 pack. If you are lucky, the bug preventing to use Excel 2003 will be
fixed.
