Why do my settings change?

Hi Folks,

Windows! aaaargh! What do I have to do to get my general
settings to be permanent? I would like all applications to
open maximized EVERY time not every once in a while. I
would like all folders to display lists and details ALL
the time not every once in a while. I would like the
programs menu to show ALL programs ALL the time not some
of the programs some of the time. Isn't there ONE place to
set these parameters and to do so permanently?

Biff:
Click Start>Control Panel>Folder Options> Then click on
the view tab, then scroll through the advanced setting
until you find what you need. Clear the check box for
remember each folders view settings.
