Why can't there be a simple solution?

I have seen numerous posts on this (srnoble 5/19/2004) and other boards that
have the same problem as I and have not seen an explanation. Several have
suggested a link to the Microsoft jungle or to troubleshooting web sites but
no clear answer as to what is going on here. It is evidently not an obscure
problem with multi-user XP machines. I have posted several times here and
elsewhere to no avail. I certainly do not want to come accross as one who
does not appreciate these boards and the people who share for free their
expert advise.

So, what *is* the problem you're referring to?

All of a sudden one of the users on a multi user XP Pro machine can't get on
the internet. dials, connects, then pge can't be displayed. settings look
same, done ad aware and spybot and nav to no avail.
