Why can't I download zip or exe file stationery?

All I get is an error message saying there is no path or something like that
when I try to download those. I use to do this with OE all the time but with
VIStA I can only use EML stationery. Not all stationery is available in EML.
How can I get the zip or exe stationery?

By the way, I just realized there are 2 differnt mail programs; Windows Mail
and Windows Live Mail. I'm using Windows Live Mail so I guess I'm in the
wrong newsgroup with this question. I have no idea what the difference is in
the 2 mail programs or why there would be 2 available.
Can someone please explain the differences or where I can find this
information. I don't kniow if I'm using the best or not nor do I know if the
other (Windows Mail) is easier to use stationey with.
Please advise.
