Can't set stationery or background in Windows Mail

I used to use stationery and backgrounds in Windows Mail all of the time and
now I can't. There is probably something that I have changed that caused
this but I don't know where to begin to look. Does anyone have any ideas on
how I can get stationery back in my emails? It won't take any of the
commands and I can't get the preview to even show the installed stationery.
I have tried creating new stationery and that won't work either.
Thank you for your help.

Is your mail sending format set to HTML, tools>options>send tab
Are your settings on the compose tab interfering?

Try open *Internet Explorer*>tools menu>options>general tab>click the
Accessibility button at the bottom>ensure that none of the following are
selected:

. Ignore colours specified on Web pages
. Ignore font styles specified on Web pages
. Ignore font sizes specified on Web pages

Click the check box to clear.

OK your way out.

Close WM & IE, reopen WM, now try your stationery?

(You may have to restart your computer for the changes to take effect)?

That's about all I can offer on stationery, I never used it and don't
appreciate mail that contains it :))

Thank you for your help Steve. However, I'm afraid none of the tips worked
or were applicable. I was told someone saw a background in an email that I
sent but I was unable to see it applied on my computer. That gives me
something else to figure out. Oh My! Always something, right?
