Some PSUs do fine. Others do not. For you to claim that they all do
"poorly" is irresponsible.


I'm content having you think this, and there's no point
arguing about it further even though I still disagree. If
you set up an arbitrary threshold, it is only a shade grey,
an interpretation whether a unit falls 2% above or below
that threshold is "good enough" is a subjective opinion when
one has access to myriad makes and models of product which
may perform differently due to minor differences in design
but not always better or worse with different loads. The
goal was really to stay as far away from the threshold as
realisitically possible.
