Decided to buy a digital camera, but which make & where to buy?
Budget is around £100, but would go up to £150 for something really good.
Any advice and comments most welcome.

Panasonic do a cracking range of cameras in that price range as do Canon and Nikon..

I was late! But I would have also said that Panasonic, Nikon or Canon are your best bet. Did you get FS35?

If possible get Class 10 SDHC card for it, and the biggest one you can afford.

In that price range I reckon Panasonic is the best bet which I see you've gone for. Let us know what you think of it Mr F :)

A bargain. :)

Quad, i have that same card in my TZ10, though it is only a class 6, would i notice a difference if i got that to replace it?

It is always prudent on the part of any photographer to have two cards in possession all the time. If you have only one you should opt for it, cards do fail at times and if you are out and about you may loose the opportunity of getting on with your shoot.

As for the difference between Class 6 and 10 yes the difference will show, with a Class 10 image processing should be faster, so will the speed of saving the image. It will also be faster in transfers.

If you can get this one use the current one you have as backup or for additional shooting.
