My frustration (and anger) with Microsoft continues to grow!
I have IE 5 at home. I have a highspeed internet connection at work. I
have dialup at home. I want to download a full installation of IE 6 at
work, burn it to CD, and take it home and install it. I cannot find
anywhere on microsoft's website where I can get a full download of IE 6 (IE
6 SP1 is the latest, I believe).
Can anyone help? Does anyone know where I can get a full download of IE 6?
I do not want to download a *stupid* setup program and spend hours wasting
my time downloading shit on dialup. What an incredibly dumb idea.
And why does Microsoft have to make this shit so difficult? Why do they
push their view of what people want onto the end user when the end user
does not have any desire for it? Doesn't Microsoft do any marketing
research at all? Don't they realize that Linux is becoming a credible
alternative and pissing off customers isn't good for business in the long
run? And surely a company with billions in cash sitting around can afford
the bandwidth for a full download of IE6.
If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great.
Otherwise, I guess I will have to start using another browser. Thanks.
