Where to get FULL IE 6.0 to download?

My father-in-law is getting a C++ runtime error on iexplorer.exe and wants to
look at reinstalling IE.
All I can find is the 500k byte file to download and then it launches IE to
get the download. But he gets the C++ error after opening IE and can not get
the internet to download anything so I wanted to find the full version and I
can copy it to CD and take that over and try to install the new version.
thanks

What makes you think that reinstalling Internet Explorer will solve the
problem?

How about posting the complete wording of this "C++ runtime error on
iexplorer.exe", and explain what your father-in-law is doing on the computer
when he sees it, to see if we can fix it more easily?

Thx.
I am waiting for him to send me the details in writing.
He normally turns off his PC after each use, so when I talked to him
yesterday, he just powered it up and after it was up and running, he pressed
the IE icon and saw the error. I will hopefully get that exact wording soon.
I have asked if somethinghas taken over the tool bar or if he has Spyware
installed to detect stuff installed while he does not know about it. Waiting
for all of this as well as version of O/S and version of IE.

Thx.
The Runtime error sounds like what he is receiving so I copied the contents
and e-mailed it to him to see if when he launches the browser, if this is the
exact error he is seeing.
if so, the I can walk him thru the uninstall of Google toolbar via the phone
and not have to go over.

Just heard back. he said that the Runtime error yuo display on the link below
is the exact error he is seeing. He will try to uninstall the Google toolbar
to see if that corrects the problem.

I hear from him that it worked just fine. He was able to remove the Google
toolbar and now he is a happy camper.
I wanted him to be sure to apply all patches that are needed for Windows and
IE to be sure that he is up to date since he has had this problem.
I know that I have a Google toolbar and I dont have the problem so do you
know what may be the difference?
Anyway, thanks for everybodies help.
