Where is Vista Express Upgrade ?

Signed up for the Dell Express Upgrade over the Xmas holiday and still
nothing.. Now the www.dellvistaupgrade.com website is down - I bet
there are tons of other people in the same boat .. This isn't
encouraging. Please report your experience thus far.
 
I gave up on mine and just purchased the software. Should have known better
when I that this was a rebate that I'd ended up screwed over.
 
hmm my post ended messed up somehow. This along with with most rebates are
genrally rip offs,
 
Mine came last Friday! Only cost the postage. I am very pleased with Vista
Premium so far!

Friend, if you didn't get your copy, did you contact Dell to find out why?
I have contacted Dell at least a half dozen times on this issue and
have not been able to get past the order ID, service tag, express
service code information I have supplied - it always ends with "the
order will ship in the order it was received..., etc..". I am a
concerned because I placed the order in December so it should have
shipped by now. BTW, if you have a set of guidelines for posting on
this group I will graciously read it, otherwise please don't berate
me. Thank you.

My response was based on the following line of thought: If 100,000 people
got theirs and you didn't, what difference does that statistic make? You
need to follow up this issue with Dell, no amount of posting or responses
from others here will make the slightest difference on whether or not you
get YOUR copy.

Dell struggles. I hate to have to hold their hand through this simple
process, like I did when I had problems even registering for the program.
Bought it at the same time you did and have received nothing still.
