Where is Access launched from?

Andy

I have Word and Excel from Office Pro 2003 on my system (WinXP Pro/SP2).

I decided to install Access and used the Add/Remove Programs window to
Change the installation of Office to include Access.

But where is the executable to launch Access?

I don't use Office bars or any of that stuff, so I need to locate that
executable!

It is named msaccess.exe. It could be something like:
Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Microsoft\Office
The best thing would be to search for it on your computer. You can usually
get to it through the Start menu, too.

Hi Andy:
The program (executable) should reside here by default:

D:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11

oopps well not quite - I load my programs to my "D:" drive - it's probably
your "C:"
Office 11 = office 2003 version

Oops. I gave you the location of the shortcut rather than of the target,
which as Gary pointed out will be something like:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\msaccess.exe
