Where does Windows media player store playlists

I need to re-install windows XP but I want to backup my
playlists used by windows media player.

I can't find where windows media player stores the
playlists. Does anyone know where the playlists data is
stored.

Thanks for any help you can give.

open your [start] > [search] and search for the titles in
the playlists. set 'lookin:' box to "my computer"
