How do I locate powerpoint program in Microsoft Works Suite 2004, I have had this program installed before, but now I can't remember if it was from the works suite or somewhere else?

You won't find it in Works Suite.
You may obtain it separately, or as part of MS Office. (Be sure it is
included in your edition of Office.)

If you are just trying to read a ppt file, a few viewer is available from
the Microsoft web site.

It isn't included in Office Small Business Edition if I
remember correctly, but is in other editions of Office.

message | PowerPoint is not included with Microsoft Works
Suite....it's included

Pretty surely someplace else, it's not part of Works. If you only need
to see PowerPoint presentations, not create or modify them, go to
www.microsoft.com and search for "powerpoint viewer". It's free and
will open and display PowerPoint files. If you need to create or alter
these things, you can either buy PowerPoint (part of MS Office), or
you can check out Open Office (www.openoffice.org), a free, open
source office suite that includes a presentation program that will
open Power Point files.
