Works Suite 2000, Home Publiisher & Windows XP

My brother has a new PC and is comfortable using Home Publisher in the Works
Suite 2000 software package. The computer is already preloaded with Windows
XP and parts of the newest Works Suite but it doesn't have a publisher-type
program. To install the old Home Publisher, you are first prompted to
insert the Works Suite 2000 disk.

Will doing so mess up the current Works Suite installation with Word on it?
Is there a different way to install the Works Suite 2000 to include the Home
Publisher program?
