Where's PowerPoint?

With my Dell I received Works Suite 2002. I heard that
it was supposed to contain PowerPoint, but I can't find
it. Is this a tragic hoax?

Sorry, you heard wrong. Whether it's a hoax or not, I can't tell
you. Did Dell promise you that it came with PowerPoint?

yep. works suite is basically a home package. even the latest
http://www.microsoft.com/products/works/products/suite.asp only has home
type stuff. powerpoint is a business application and is included in
microsoft office:

Microsoft Works Suite DOES NOT feature PowerPoint.

If you want to simply view PowerPoint presentations (no editing),
Microsoft has a free viewer program:

Neither the Microsoft Office application suite, nor any of its
individual component applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access,
Outlook, etc.), have _ever_ been "part" of *any* Windows operating
system. They are, and always have been, separate applications, that
must be purchased and installed separately.
