where do emails go if archive is corrupt?

I have a user on OL2003 in cached mode that had a corrupt pst file. The auto
archive feature is turned on and pointed to this file. I have run scanpst
several times trying to recover the pst - to no avail. I can open it but
there are no files. New pst created.

Issue: where did the emails go during the time the archive was corrupted
and can I get them back? It seems that the auto archive attempted to archive
the files but couldnt due to the fact the pst was corrupt - but we can no
longer see the original files. Which way did they go?

Hi,

You can try our product Advanced Outlook Repair to repair your PST
file. It is a powerful tool to recover messages and other objects from
corrupt or damaged Microsoft Outlook PST files. It can also split the
output PST file into several small ones if the original PST file is
oversized.

Please visit http://www.datanumen.com/aor/index.htm for detailed
information about Advanced Outlook Repair.

And you can also download a free demo version at http://www.datanumen.com/aor/aor.exe
