Where are the downloads?

Through auto-updates I downloaded and tried to install Service Pack 3. It
prompted me to install the original CD, which I didn't have with me at the
time. It then gave me an error message and uninstalled what it had done so
far. Now I'm trying to re-install SP3, but I don't know how to go about it.
Is the downloaded file somewhere on my computer that I can open? The website
says I have already downloaded it and installed it, but it didn't go through.
Advice? Thanks.

I think it was for Office XP (although I have to admit I didn't look too
closely)
