I just did a reinstall of XP and for some reason the bubbles that originate
in the system tray no longer appear. I can hear them, but can't see them.
Any suggestions on how to cure this?

Garden's Touch,

START | RUN | Type 'regedit' (without quotes) & press ENTER

Navigate to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced

In the right pane:

Key Name: EnableBalloonTips
Key Type: DWORD
Value: 1 = enable balloon tooltips, 0 = disable balloon tooltips

Close the registry editor

Suggestions:

1. Go to Start/All Programs: Hover over any program listed, right click
and select Sort by Name. Repeat once more.

2. Right-click the Taskbar/Properties, uncheck: Keep the taskbar on top of
other windows, apply/ok... Revert.
