Damn Message bubbles

[Just Me]

I have tried everything that has been suggested but I can't get rid of the
mesage bubbles. The bubbles I am talking about are the message bubbles that
appear when you hover your mouse over something in IE 6 or Outlook or on
websites menus. It's so damn frustrating because the bubbles get in the way
and I can read what is on the menus..

Can anyone help, I have tried using Tweakui, I have added a DWORD in my
registery nothing seems to work

Maybe im crazy but dont put your mouse over the bubbles UNTIL you have
read the menu and decided what to click on.

Well I won't call you crazy but how can you read the dropdown menus when you
have to put your mouse over the menu to have it dropdown. then as you move
your mouse to the item in the dropdown the bubbles are in the way and you
can't read what you are trying to navigate through......

Try running the edit on Kelly's site, line 11, " Disable Balloon Tips or
Disable All" at http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm. Click on
the Disable All portion. See the top of the page for info on running
the edit.

I wasn't here in newsgroups about those pop up tip bubbles...but saw this
post....opened up, read the threads, saw yours and went ahead and
click on the link to Kelly's fix it site...and got rid of those bubbles
myself as well...Why not huh? LOL

If I understand you correctly, I believe you're referring to "tool tips"
(the little yellow boxes with a short description of the item you mouse-over
on?)

They're set by the web site author as part of a link (< a href="link.htm"
title="this is the title">click here</a>), the "title" part is what pops up
if a web author includes it in the link tag, it is not set by your system.

I don't know if you can override them in your browser - maybe you can.
