message bubbbles

How can I get rid of the description bubbles that pop up whenever I have my
mouse over something on a webpage. It sucks trying to read a menu or
something with Win XP damn bubbles blocking it so I can't read it.

Doesn't work, I already have that in my registery and I still get the
message bubbles..

Maybe I misread your question?

Have what in the Registry?
Do you mean "EnableBalloonTips" with a value of 0.
Did you put it in yourself? (as it is not there by default)
Perhaps you put it in incorrectly?
....or perhaps it is in another program that you haven't mentioned?
(It does not disable all balloon tips as it clearly indicates)

in my registery at
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced
I have a DWORD value with EnableBalloonTips and it has a a hexadecimal
value of 0

I may have done it myself as I have tried to get rid of these bubbles before

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ "
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced
create a new DWORD value:
EnableBalloonTips.
hexadecimal value of 0.
You will need to restart computer
If you have SP2, Do this in both REGistry keys.
If You don't use SP2, Just do in HKEY_CURRENT_USER.
