Where are shortcuts stored?

horst

When I press a shortcut like CTRL-ALT-C I get a message telling that a
specific program (ReadCaption) cannot be found.
Actually this was a program which I tested time ago and then deleted it.
Now I would like to reuse this shortcut for another program, but I am
not allowed to use it.
Is there a place (in registry ?) where all these shortcuts are listed
and can be managed?
Thanks
Horst

I believe that they are stored in a table in Explorer.exe itself. I
don't know of an easy way to do what you want without the use of third
party tools. Try this:

Their Hotkey Detective utility is pretty handy at finding these keys but
they require a paid subscription to access the download. You can search
the net for "hotkeyd.zip" and you will find it somewhere else.
