After you start the Equation Editor, the menu bar changes to the EE's
commands, and the Help item or F1 will open the EE's help instead of
Word's help.

You may also be interested in EE's "big brother", MathType. Visit
www.dessci.com. Besides having a free trial version you can download,
they have a Support section with Tech Notes, some of which are about
Equation Editor.

Help! I get an error message every time I open word that the MathType macros
will not work because I have version 10 and the macros only work with version
8.0 and newer. Is'nt 10 newer than 8? What did I do? Now I can't enter any
equations!
