Ah, bingo. That seems to be a problem between PowerPoint and some printer drivers.
I'd check the printer manufacturer's site to see if they have an updated driver
for your printer.
If you have PPT2003, you'll also want to choose Help, Check For Updates (on general
principles if nothing else).
Another approach: if you have Acrobat or one of the other inexpensive/free clones,
try printing to that to make a PDF, then print the PDF from Acrobat Reeader.
