When I switched from PP2003 to 2007, I can see my animation text H

I have a PowerPoint that was started in 2003, and I just moved to 2007. When
I go to my first slide I have the following problem.

I have three lines of text, and you should only see the first, as I talk and
then hit enter and the second line comes up, and same for the third line.

My problem is, you can see all the text, but it is black, and when I hit
enter fly's in and turns white.

Any idea how I can get that black text to go away?

I 'd just reset the animations.

Click on the Animations tab in the ribbon. Click on the custom animation
button. From there everything will look the same at PPT 2003. Delete the
existing animation settings from the task pane and set new entrance effects
to appear On Click.

Fade is a nice Entrance effect.
