When I shut down my computer Sysfader does not close

P

palmony

I am using Windows XP SP 2.
When I shut down my computer using the "start" button, I often get
messages that sysfader won't close.
I have to hit the button "end now", several times before sysfader
closes.
It now takes 10 to 15 minutes for sysfader to actually close and my
computer to shut down normally.

I heard that the sysfader.exe file is connected with Nvidia video
cards.
I did an update recently to my Nvidia video card drivers.

I also have feeling that the internet explorer windows are opened very
slowly.

Can anybody give some help please.

Thanks
