When I search using the look for toolbar it takes forever.

When I search using the look for toolbar it will show the oldest date first
and then take forever to get to today's date. How do I change it so when I
search for something it will start with todays date (the most recent) and
then end at the oldest date? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
It's really annoying to have to wait for the whole search to go through to
find something from yesterday.

Diane,

Thank you for the response. Thats not how it worked before. I started
having this problem about 2 weeks ago. When I searched for something it
started with today's date and then went to the older e-mails. Was there an
update or did something change with Outlook 2003?

Did you import mail about the time it started? Move messages to other
folders? Things like that can cause it it to appear to kick in.
