Outlook 2003 "Look For" option

I appreciate it if anyone has an answer...I have to search a ton of e-mails
on a daily basis at work and I need to use Outlook to do this but when I do a
search from the "Look For" bar at the top it searches from the oldest e-mails
first. I need it to start searching from the most recent e-mails first. I
stumble on something that shouldn't affect it but it does and it's the "Use
Cached Exchange Mode". My office uses Microsoft Exchange Server for e-mails
and when I checked the "Use Cached Exchange Mode" it starts searching from
the most recent e-mails but when I unchecked that mode it goes back to
searching from the oldest e-mails or even from a date in the middle then goes
to the oldest e-mails and then back to the most recent e-mails. Is there a
way to keep the "Use Cached Exchange Mode" unchecked and still have "Look
For" start searching from the most current e-mails first. Please help...This
will help me a lot. Thank you.

I would recommend installing an indexing tool to search your email more
effectively and faster than the built-in search solution of Outlook 2003.
Windows Desktop Search probably will do the trick for you.
