Hi,
I'm swithing the "when I close the lid ..." setting of the power option
(in the advance setting) from "stand by" to "do nothing" it works
perfectly but then when I restart the computer the settings change
again to "stand by".
I have admin privlages and I have changed the same option in the bios
as well.
I have a thinkpad T43p.
Do any of you guys know what might be the problem or how to solve it?

Thanks,
Reuven.

have you tried looking into the power management setting in the bios?
alternativly with some other models by different brands this would need a
bios update or just a simple windows update.

crunchy handkerchief dregs and bladder seasoning, cooked in a congealing
pail brimming with dried squares of spinach and badger in fruit juice, a
side of veal and a pitcher of pus.
