Advanced Power Options - Shutdown when you close Laptop Lid

I used to have this awsome feature, that i can select to Shut my laptop down
when I close the Lid. this was in Windows 2000
in XP, however, i dont seem to have this option, and only "do nothing",
"hybernate", and "Standby" options are there. ( this is within the Advanced
Tab under Control panel - power options ).
some seem to suggest that this is NOT available any more in XP.
is this true? any tune-up's to get this back?

You get that option when you install the laptop drivers/software.
Perhaps you replaced the Win2k operating system with XP and didn't
install them? Vist the manufacturers web site.

Check your BIOS setting and post the result.
