What's wrong with Microsoft

Semper

We definately need more whitehats.
I am so glad to hear that some are sick and tired and not going to
take it anymore.
Computing in the modern era is so full of chaos advotees. We need more
willing to go on the offensive to shut hacker and those dammed ad and
spam sites down.
Thanks for your determination and wish you all the success in doing
so.

Is it possible that the UK just has a lot of X-Boxes in storage since they
are selling poorly and Sony Playstation 2 the slim version is selling so
well.

and that as well :)
I do not like the look of the new Playstation, I know it is smaller, but
it looks cheap and nasty.

Not that I will ever buy a games consol anyway.

Why will you never buy a game console -- is too much of your time already
taken up by the computer <?>

I just think they are a waste of money and the games are so expensive on
them. the problem with games consoles is when they go out of date, you
need to buy a new one, at least with a computer, you can just update.

anyway, I do not play enough games to bother about spending the money.

Thanks for the explaination, Ad. I appreciate it. I realize that backwards
compatibility is becoming really popular. For instance, Game Boy Advance SP
from Nintendo supports all the Game Boy games and also Playstation 2 supports
most Playstation 1 games. This also reminds me that customers at Target want
the original PS2 boxy version and not the new slim one because they think the
new one is cheap. I have not tried the new PS2 slim so I cannot comment.

True, but you still need to buy a new machine to play the latest games
and these machines are not cheap.

I have seen it in a local store, it do look cheap and nasty and lest
with the older one it looked like you got something for your money.

Do sony still make the bigger one or aere they just making the slimline one?

Dan

AFAIK, Sony is only making the slim ones now but I could be wrong.
