As long as I'm on hook, my modem lights show that there is always a data
flow out of my PC! I know that I don't run any program to cause this. What
could that be? A virus? Is there something to steal my data hidden in my PC?
Any advise would greatly be appreciated. Just a note ; during that time, I
cannot move my cursor smoothly, as if this "unknown" operation get the
machine slow down.

Thank you

Get Spybot Search and Destroy and AdAware (do a web search for them,
they are freeware). You've probably got spyware/adware running in the
background. Also update your antivirus package and scan for viruses.

It's the 'X' Files, Sinan!!

Go to http://securityresponse.symantec.com/ and then click on the "check
for secrurity risks" icon about half way down the page.

In the Symantec Security Check window, click on the 'Start' button below
"Virus Detection". This will scan you PC for the virus it seems you have,
and then you can find the repair kit, usually free, on the same site.

Good luck.
