computer.

This is an Access newsgroup. We help with questions related to Microsoft
Access - the database application that is part of MS Office Professional.

I was in the same boat a couple of days ago.. basicallyt you'll find
misleading and incorrect information all over the place.

I just bought my dad a new nice laser last October.. I mean WOW i was
surprised when HP told me that it didn't run on Vista
I mean WOW

I finally foudn this universal printer driver 3.1 or something
and I fiddled with that and then the XP version of the driver.. and it
wasn't a really logical thing; just try both and it should work

Rick B is correct that there are more appropriate newsgroups, but, just for
grins, did you visit HP's website to see if there is a Windows Vista driver
for your printer that you can download and install, BEFORE you dash out and
spend money for another printer, for which you may still have to do the same
(assuming that you aren't just looking for an excuse to replace the printer
you have)? It's not a bad idea, BTW, to just periodically visit the
websites of your peripheral manufacturers, because they do issue updated
drivers from time to time.
