what news server are you using?

You're not wrong there, a friend of mine dropped one ISP because they
stopped carrying ng's then the one she went with did the same so she went
back to the original ISP as the service was better. <g>

Comcast dropped their own newsgroups a long time ago also. You now
get them thru GigaNews if you are a comcast subscriber. But the
limits on them are so restrictive its like not having newsgroups at
all.

If you are seriously into newsgroups then you should consider a
subscription to one of the premium News services like Giganews or Easy
News. Both are good but Giganews has longer retention than Easy news.
