A new install of XP Pro SP2 has this, or got it from updates. The only place
I have been on the internet.

An application that causes hangs??? From Microsoft????
 
Thanks for the link. It makes sense now. I have alot of .dll and .exe files
that have been swapped out. Nasty virus. It seems one of the imposters
isn't up to the task and causing a bottleneck. Now if I can only get rid of
it. Does not show up on scans, because it uses legitimate MS programs. I
have a totally different registry after two days from initial infection.
