It may but, it may not. However both the items I suggest are FREE and non-intrusive.
Adaware is a known leader in cleaning non viral malware and TrendMicro Sysclean is a good
cleaner. While the downloading and scanning takes time, it is well worth the outcome.
I *strongly* suggest performing both scanners.
