I am attempting to download Windows XP Professional x64 Edition RC2 from MSDN
Subscriber Downloads but receive the error "The requested content identifier
is not valid". The FID is 624422.

I can download other files so this is not a problem with my FTM setup, it
just seems to be the XP Pro 64 downloads that are affected. I've seen from
searching that this has happened before when files have been moved or changed
- is there something like this in the works ? How do I get this file ?

well I got the latest file; it appears MSDN was in the process of changing
the files over and had not removed the old links.

nevertheless a response from Microsoft in this group would have been nice; I
was under the impression that posts with a 'from' address of our registered
alias would be responded to within 48 hours.
