I am not sure whether what I want can be done via the validation rule or not.
I am trying to create a validation rule that is a like "Are you sure you want to delete this item" then a Yes/No option is offered that requires you to select, this in turn confirms the choice from the combo box.
If "No" then the validation text has achieved it's purpose.
The combo box identifies status for an individual student, the choices are:
Active
Enrolled
Suspended
Finished
Completed
If Completed is selected the individual record can no longer be seen as it does not fall under the query criteria.
I am self taught and use Help and forums to find out how to achieve the things I want to do. I look forward to a simple solution (Hopefully)
