What is color for line in jack?

I'm trying to record some sound using the line-in feature of my PC.
Unfortunately I can't get any sound even though I have tried using each
of the 6 color coded jacks none of which say what there for. Is there
any standard for the color jacks so that I could at least know that my
connection is using the correct jack before I start the troubleshooter
portion of XP? The colors on my machine are pink,green,blue,grey,black
& yellow. None of these jacks have any symbol next to them.

You have more jacks than I, but the standard for Line-in is pale blue.
Speaker Out is orange.
Mic is pink.
Line-out is light green.
