windows defender ended last month so is that it will there be a new version
coming out?
 
I find it interesting that the help file for WD 1593 still states that
Windows 2000 SP4 is one of the acceptable operating systems it the System
Requirements section.

FWIW, if you use Orca to remove the OS version check, WD 1593 runs quite
happily on W2K.
