im about to get a really nice gaming laptop
Processor/CPU:
Intel Pentium M Centrino 2.0GHz 533FSB 2mb Cache Dothan (THE FASTEST AVAILABLE)
Ram:
2GB dual channel DDR2 PC2-4200 533Mhz RAM (MAXIMUM AVAILABLE)
LCD/Display:
17" WUXGA(WIDE UXGA)(BEST DISPLAY ON THE MARKET!)
Video Card:
256MB Video ram NVIDIA 6800 (BEST ON THE MARKET)
Hard Drive:
HUGE 100GB Ultra ATA hard drive (LARGEST ON THE MARKET)
DVD+/-RW Drive:
8x CD AND DVD burner (DVD+/-RW) with double-layer write capability

and i was wondering what are some good pc games i should get to play them on, i want to see how good the graphics are and stuff, so what do u think are some good (fps games mainly and maybe some racing) games?

Battlefield 2, Doom 3, Half-Life 2, CS Source and when its released, Quake 4.

reefsmoka will put you right on games if he sees this thread, but here's some suggestions, faves of mine:

Half Life 2
Far Cry
Call Of Duty and United Offensive Expansion
Painkiller
Brothers In Arms Road to Hill 30
UT 2004
Max Payne 2
Halo
Serious Sam (budget)
Serious Sam 2nd Encounter (budget)

And Doom 3 is good, although a little repetitive, it will certainly test your grafix, as will Far Cry.

All that list are fps's, although Bros In Arms is a little slower, it has team play and stuff.
