I haven't read this whole thread, just scanned it through quickly to see if this was already mentioned...

I have the Sony Ericsson W800i, basically the walkman version of the K750i.

Am very pleased with this phone, basically.

I won't bore you with all the specs, but it does everything I need it to, and is cheap as chips on contract (£19 a month, O2, 500 free texts, 50 free minutes...Number of texts and minutes can obviously be altered at a variation of price)

Might wana check it out :)

I appreciate the help. Without other peoples help i would be lost i really would. Why do you think they would put the phone up an extra £20 and not any others that i can see?

Thanks again.

They will of put the price up because of xmas price increases, so the staff at Orange have that little extra something in their pay packets ;)

Were you getting it as an xmas present?

If not surely the price would go down again after the xmas period finishes...?

It was a xmas present for me, my dad was gonna buy it. Just my luck, i was gonna but it last week but my dad was away and couldnt use his card until today when i found the increase.

Its unlikely the price will go back to £130 before xmas is it? :(

I personally doubt it.

Why not just hope it goes down again after xmas and have a late xmas gift for yourself? :)

Im really tempted to buy it, but refuse to eat out of orange's hands buy paying the extra £20 just because they decide to put the price up.

Have you tried to check prices at Amazon UK website? They were offering Razr V3 (payasyougo) at £99! Check if they offer a good deal on something else as well.
