Thoughts on Apple AirTags?

I'm going to be switching back to Apple for my phone and my partner already has an older iPhone, so AirTags look like they might be a useful product.

However... it appears that AirTags can't be shared between family members! Even though we can see the location of family member phones, iPads etc... it looks like AirTags will be excluded. Frustratingly, that's much more useful as we share things like a set of keys for the car, which is where we'll likely use the AirTags.

Has anyone here tried them before? If so, what do you think of them?
