WFP error

ach time I boot I get the file protection error that
tells me to insert my CD. I do this and it completes but
when I look at the event log it has the following

The protected system file psapi.dll could not be restored
to its original, valid version. The file version of the
bad file is 5.0.2134.1 The specific error code is
0x800b0100 [No signature was present in the subject.
].

This is a microsoft file but there is nothing in the
subject when I look at the properties for the file.

Help please.

Check your Group Policy for unsigned drivers. Usually in Windows Settings. Use the Windows Help if you are unsure how to get to Group Policy. One in particular is in the Administrative Templates | System and it is called Code signing for device drivers. See if that is enabled. There are two others as well usually in Local Policy.
