"WELCOME SCREEN"

Hi all,

I have two XP Pro PCs (work and home) . . . The desktop display
screen saver properties on one offers a checkbox to "On resume,
password protect." and the other offers "On resume, display welcome
screen".

I would prefer the welcome screen version on both.

What the heck am I doing wrong?

Thanks,
Bill Gargan

ON the one that isn't doing as you wish - Control Panel - User accounts -
Change the way users log on and off - Place a check in Use the Welcome
Screen

Thanks, but I checked and that option is already set. This is only an
issue when I set the screensaver to require a log back in. The
computer always starts with the welcome screen but thescreensaver
restart always starts with a user login box rather than the welcome
screen.
