Welcome screen redisplay problem

B

Blue Max

When pressing the mouse or keyboard in order to recover from the
screen-saver displayed during an idle period, we continually are presented
with the Welcome screen and must re-enter our password in order to continue.
This happens in spite of the fact that we have 'Deselected' the option to
display the Welcome screen on resume, found on the 'Screen Saver' tab of the
'Display Properties' dialog. Any sugggestions as to why this may be the
case, despite our settings?

Thank you very much. I am quite sure that "Method 2" will resolve the
problem! It sure would be nice, however, if clearing this option on the
'Screen Saver' tab would warn the user that this additional power setting
might override their choice here!
