Hi Guys ,
I have Windows XP installed on my Computer
Recently i have replaced my motherboard and my new motherboard does
not have onboard ethernet card.
So i installed new ethernet card and assigned OLD ip address to access
web.
But it gives me error stating
"This ip address is assigned to another ethernet card which is disable
"
When i try to uninstall the old ethernet card it again gives me error
"This uninstallation required reboot"

I reboot the system thrice but the old ethernet card drivers are still
thr in computer management,

Plz help me resolving this issue

Do you uninstall with the new card removed? Do you uninstall the
old drivers using Device Manager? Providing essential details means
others with grasp would not bypass the first post. Not even listed
was the old and new motherboard; name of old and new ethernet
interface; even IO address, IRQ assignments, and other important
numbers. Did you execute manufacturer's hardware diagnostic for the
new card? If not, then the error message could be a new software
driver trying to access a defective card. More details.
